“The problem with pornography is not that it shows too much of a person, but that it shows far too little. ”
WHY PORN FREE?
Decades of research and personal stories highlight the detrimental impacts of pornography on all facets of humanity. We aim to change that by telling our tales and shining light in the darkness of pornography.
8 YEARS OLD:
Exposure to porn at the age of 8 hijacked my sexual identity, leading to a lifetime of exploitation, abuse, and brokenness that almost ended in my death. Choosing victory over victimhood, a desire was born to help others break free from the patterns of sexual harm, shame, and even suicide, that unsurprisingly often link back to roots entangled in the heavy chains of pornography. While professionally serving individuals, relationships, and communities through non-profits and the federal government, PornFreeCO was inspired from a place of hope and resilience in the face of shame, trauma, and adversity. We hope to shine light into this darkness.
“One thing you must realize is that you either kill your addiction or your addiction will eventually kill you.”
Naked Soul:
Our naked souls deserve to be regarded as highly as our naked bodies. At PornFreeCO, we are privileged to share the stories of those who bravely choose to walk away from the counterfeits offered by pornography. Instead, we pursue the vulnerability, authenticity, passion, and intimacy that only come from the breathtaking gift of sex. These can never be replicated by porn.
